Mālō e lelei, hello! My name is Sela Jane, and I am the founder and sole operator of a gift box small business in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, called Selabrations. Majority of us has either left gift shopping to the last minute or have no clue as to what to buy someone for their birthday. We are an ecommerce gifting hub that offers Ready-To-Go gift boxes for people who are time pressured, a 'Build A Gift Box' service, which allows customers to curate a gift box that is tailored to their loved ones' interests with carefully considered gift items by New Zealand small businesses. We have an Under $100 category for people on a budget, yet still after a gift that is thoughtful, and Mystery Gift Boxes for those wanting to treat themselves with an element of surprise. Every day we are researching trending, thoughtful gift to make it easier for you to browse, choose and be the favourite person in the room with your stunning, meaningful gift box. What makes Selabrations unique in such a saturated market is that we take kindness to the next level. With every order placed, we donate $1 to the PADA charity (Perinatal Anxiety Depression Aotearoa) to help parents get the resources and professional help they need to recover quickly. This charity is special to us as I am a survivor of perinatal depression. I was diagnosed with this mood disorder after my son's 1st birthday, and during my recovery, whilst running Selabrations, I decided I wanted to make a conscious effort to promote love, gratitude and self-care in the work that I do.

Three years into our gifting business, we now stock over 100 gift items, many from Kiwi small businesses, to ensure your gifting situation is intentional and memorable. I have also single-handedly grown our online community to over 8,000 followers across Instagram and TikTok utilising organic content. Our tagline is that we take gifting personally, and that is definitely felt by the hundreds of customers we have served across Aotearoa, New Zealand, and shown through our 4.9 Google star rating.
